FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

  1. 01What is WORDR?

You send a recording. WORDR transcribes it, structures it under your chapters and themes, and a person checks every line for errors and hallucinations. You get two documents: a clean transcript and the full text reorganised to your map. No map? WORDR can build one from the material.

  2. 02Who is behind it?

Carlo Albertoli, trading as WORDR, a sole trader based in Lewes, East Sussex, in the United Kingdom. Full details are on the Contact page.

  3. 03What do I receive?

Two documents, PDF and/or docx. A formatted transcript — speakers identified, readable. And the full text reorganised under your chapters, themes or sections. If the recording has material your structure doesn't cover, WORDR flags it and suggests where it belongs.

  4. 04Which languages?

    English and Italian.

  5. 05Is there a free sample?

Yes. Send a recording of up to 30 minutes and your organising criteria to info@wordr.org. You'll get a sample within 72 hours. Free. No obligation.

  6. 06How do I send a recording?

    By email to info@wordr.org.

  7. 07How much does it cost?

WORDR is in beta. Pricing is being tested. Before any paid work you get a quote — scope, price, delivery time. Nothing starts until you agree (Terms, clause 04).

  8. 08How long does it take?

The free sample: within 72 hours. For paid jobs the delivery time is agreed in the quote. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed (Terms, clause 07).

  9. 09Does a person check the output?

Yes. A language model does the heavy lifting at every stage. Then a person goes through the result, hunting for errors and the things language models invent.

  10. 10Can WORDR promise there are no errors?

No. WORDR catches a lot, and a person reviews every output, but language models will always find new ways to make things up. No output is guaranteed error-free. Check the documents before you use them (Terms, clause 08).

  11. 11What if something is wrong?

One round of corrections is included. If the output doesn't match your material or the agreed structure, ask for corrections or a refund (Terms, clause 09).

  12. 12What happens to my recordings?

Transcribed with Whisper. Structured with Claude. Reviewed by a person. Not used for training. Not used for anything other than your job. Once you approve the job, the recordings, transcripts and documents are deleted. WORDR keeps its client and billing records. Details in the Privacy notice.

  13. 13Is my material confidential?

Yes. Everything you send is confidential. WORDR uses it to do the job and nothing else (Terms, clause 12). For personal data in your recordings, WORDR acts as your processor (Terms, clause 13).

  14. 14Can I cancel?

If you're a consumer, 14 days to cancel, no reason needed. Conditions in Terms, clause 10.

  15. 15How do I ask about my personal data?

Write to info@wordr.org with Data protection in the subject. Your rights, and how to complain, are in the Privacy notice.
